Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostics, and creating tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic conditions either independently or in conjunction with physicians, depending on your credentials
• Educating patients and their families on preventative measures, wellness strategies, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments within the regulatory framework
• Engaging in follow-up care and overall chronic disease management
• Working alongside multidisciplinary teams to guarantee comprehensive and effective patient care
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records using electronic medical record systems

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Maryland
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or another relevant specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
