Job Opportunity – Trauma Nurse Lead – Emergency Department – Georgia

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Augusta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Nights and weekends; focused on emergency department trauma response during initial primary and secondary survey periods

Highlights:

• Trauma lead position in a busy Level 1 trauma environment within a 354-bed facility
• Work with advanced equipment including Level 1 rapid infuser, HOT LINE, EKG, ultrasound, Hamilton vents, and Alaris IV pumps
• EMR system: Meditech
• Part of a nationally recognized burn and trauma center serving thousands of patients annually
• Opportunity to perform critical procedures including IV placement, spinal stabilization, splinting, and assistance with chest tubes, central lines, and arterial lines
• Collaborative environment with experienced emergency and trauma teams known for exceptional patient care

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Georgia
• Emergency Department and Trauma experience required
• Current TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification – required
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications – required
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) – preferred
• Advanced skills in mass transfusion protocols using Level 1 rapid infuser
• Strong IV therapy background and proficiency in emergency procedures
• Ability to perform effectively in high-stress, rapid-response situations
• Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Willingness to assist in OR when needed
• Dress code: Red and black scrubs (red top, black bottom)
