Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced Surgical Technologist for an Open Heart OR (CVOR preferred) position requiring NBSTSA certification and 2 years of hospital experience.

Details

• Operating Room unit performing open heart cases, with CVOR experience preferred
• Must be comfortable scrubbing a variety of cases including Ortho, Neuro, and General surgery
• May be required to float as needed
• 10-hour day shifts with start times of 7am, 9:30am, 11am, or 1pm based on need
• Rotating weekend and holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Associate's Degree from a Surgical Tech Program
• Minimum of 2 years of formal in-hospital experience
• NBSTSA certification required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered, though previous travel experience is preferred
• Accepts Covid medical/religious exemption
• 16 hours of unbillable orientation held on Mondays
• Accepts local candidates
• 75-mile radius rule applies
• Time off requests must be kept to a minimum during the assignment and approved prior to confirmation
• Holiday time off limited to 1 of the 3 major holidays, at the facility's discretion
