Maintains records or logs. Verifies completion and accuracy of information. Sets up and maintains files and records.Essential FunctionsCoordinate and schedule shipments with freight carriers and couriersPrepare shipping documentation, labels, and paperwork for both domestic and international locations.Maintain accurate records of shipping activities.Coordinate and prioritize outbound shipments with production personnel.Ensure company safety policies and regulatory requirements are met at all times.Additional ResponsibilitiesPerforms other duties as assigned.Skills and AbilitiesProvides service-oriented attitude in support of customer shipments, both internal and external. RequiredQualificationsH.S. Diploma/GED, Preferred2 years or more in shipping, logistics or warehouse office operations, RequiredFamiliarity with carrier scheduling, and freight booking. Working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP. Beginner, RequiredExperience preparing and reviewing key documents like bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, etc. Intermediate, RequiredExperience working directly with carriers of all transportation modes. Experience training team members. Intermediate, RequiredSituational experience resolving carrier delays, shipment discrepancies or documentation issues.
