Opportunities for Growth Competitive Pay (cash/tips) In-House Training and Development GENERAL OVERVIEW: Crew Members at JM TEAM MONMOUTH (dba Jersey Mike’s) will be helping with customer needs as they enter and interact in the store. Employees will work the front counter, be responsible for customer service, making sandwiches, interacting with customers and co- workers on a continual basis. Crew members will complete other tasks associated with operating a store. The expectation of any employee is to uphold the highest level of all of Jersey Mike’s operational standards. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide food that meets Jersey Mike’s specifications and high-quality standards Provide service that is above and beyond for the customer Maintain a clean store and workplace Set up of the store, including food preparation Food safety and sanitation, including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, etc. Usage of slicer (18 years old and above only) Usage of tomato slicer (17 years old and above only) Follow directives of Operations Partner in execution of responsibilities WAGE/BENEFITS: Hourly position – Wages competitive Opportunities for Potential Growth In-House Training and Development ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: Food quality that meets Jersey Mike’s specifications and high-quality standards Providing customer service at the highest level possible throughout the restaurant A restaurant that follows standards of Jersey Mike’s Franchise System Must have reliable transportation to and from work Customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers and co-workers on a consistent basis PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 0-1 year experience in food service 0-1 year experience in cash handling PHYSICAL DEMANDS Incumbent of the position performs constant vigorous physical tasks requiring long periods of standing, walking, stooping, reaching, and lifting, all generally involving moderate muscular strain in addition to seeing, hearing, and talking. Safely using all store food preparation equipment for long periods with the required application of eye, hand and finger dexterity.
