Job Overview
Staffmax is seeking an experienced Amazon Advertising and Channel Growth Specialist to lead Amazon growth, advertising strategy, and channel profitability for a growing e-commerce brand.
This role will own the launch, scaling, and optimization of products on Amazon, with a focus on visibility, customer acquisition, market share, and profitable growth.
As part of a small team, this person must be both a strategist and a hands-on executor. They will manage Amazon campaign planning, execution, optimization, reporting, and recommendations, while bringing working knowledge of Google Ads and Meta to support broader paid media strategy.
The ideal candidate has a proven record of growing Amazon brands profitably, uses data to guide decisions, and communicates clearly with company leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Amazon Growth & Strategy

• Develop and execute strategies to launch, scale, and optimize products on Amazon.
• Grow the Amazon channel profitably through improved visibility, conversion rates, organic ranking, customer acquisition, and competitive positioning.
• Identify opportunities for product launches, subscription growth, promotional strategies, competitor conquest campaigns, and improved marketplace performance.

Amazon Advertising Management

• Create, manage, and optimize Amazon campaigns across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, DSP, and other relevant ad formats.
• Own day-to-day execution, including campaign setup, keyword management, targeting, bid adjustments, budget pacing, search term analysis, testing, and optimization.
• Monitor performance and make tactical adjustments to improve ROAS, TACOS, ACOS, CAC, CPO, conversion rate, and contribution margin.
• Stay current on Amazon platform changes, new advertising products, marketplace trends, and competitive activity.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Use data to identify trends, guide decisions, and uncover profitable growth opportunities.
• Track and report on revenue, profitability, ROAS, TACOS, ACOS, conversion rate, organic ranking, customer acquisition, and subscription growth.
• Translate performance data into clear insights, recommendations, risks, and opportunities for leadership.

Cross-Channel Awareness

• Bring working experience with Google Ads and Meta, including how paid search and paid social can support Amazon growth and broader acquisition strategy.
• Help align Amazon strategy with broader paid media efforts.

Collaboration & Ownership

• Act as the internal expert for Amazon advertising and marketplace growth.
• Partner with leadership, marketing, creative, operations, and platform contacts to align campaigns with business goals.
• Work independently while keeping the team informed and aligned.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience launching and scaling products on Amazon.
• Hands-on experience managing Amazon advertising, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and ideally DSP.
• Strong understanding of Amazon SEO, keyword strategy, listing optimization, product ranking, and marketplace competitiveness.
• Demonstrated ability to grow an Amazon business profitably in a competitive category.
• Experience managing budgets, pacing spend, improving ROAS, reducing ACOS/TACOS, and optimizing for profitability.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into clear recommendations.
• Comfortable owning both strategy and tactical execution.
• Ability to communicate performance, strategy, and tradeoffs clearly to leadership.
• Experience with Google Ads and Meta, with an understanding of how they support acquisition strategy.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple campaigns and priorities.
• Comfortable working independently as the subject matter expert in a small-team environment.
• Familiarity with tools such as Helium 10, Pacvue, Sellozo, Amazon Marketing Cloud, Seller Central, Vendor Central, or similar platforms.
• Experience with FBA, FBM, subscription products, consumables, or replenishment-based brands is strongly preferred.
