As a Security Officer Access Control in Riverside, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Your visible presence, communication skills, and customer-focused approach will help deter incidents while supporting daily operations. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and delivery or visitor authorization, maintain access records, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, loading zones, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Assist with the orderly flow of vehicle and pedestrian traffic at entry and exit points while helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
