Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a collaborative attitude, and the ability to work effectively night shifts across multiple locations.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved policies, procedures, and legal standards.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in accordance with standards of care.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless patient care and safety.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and unit practice activities, including peer reviews and shared governance.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Wisconsin RN license.
• Verify education, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS certifications.
• Possess strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and patient safety skills.
• Experience working in emergency or acute care settings is preferred.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
