About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Lending Officer (CLO) to provide strategic leadership and drive the growth and risk management of its lending portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing lending strategies that ensure sustainable growth, strong asset quality, and exceptional member service. This executive role involves overseeing consumer, mortgage, and commercial lending functions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while aligning with the organization's strategic plan. Applicants for the CLO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree or professional certifications being preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive lending experience within financial services, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing multiple lending functions, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consumer, mortgage, and commercial lending, and a proven track record in portfolio growth, risk management, and operational improvement. The CLO will play a critical role in the organization, and as such, the ability to lead and inspire a team, as well as a deep understanding of the lending industry and its regulatory environment, are essential.
