About the Role

The Company is in search of a Head of Capital Formation to join their team. The successful candidate will be tasked with spearheading fundraising initiatives across various investment offerings and capital raising channels. This role requires a strong network across family offices, RIAs, broker-dealers, qualified purchasers, and other private wealth channels, as well as a proven track record in raising capital for alternative investment vehicles and commercial real estate strategies. The Head of Capital Formation will be responsible for leading the firm's capital formation efforts, including investor relations, fundraising, and marketing initiatives, and will play a key role in building a scalable, data-driven capital raising platform. Applicants for the Head of Capital Formation position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, business, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in capital raising, investor relations, investment banking, private equity, or related fields is required, along with a strong understanding of alternative investments, capital markets, and commercial real estate investment structures. The role demands exceptional relationship management, presentation, and communication skills, as well as the ability to lead and manage a capital formation team. The ideal candidate will be familiar with CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and data-driven business development strategies, and have a working knowledge of regulatory and compliance considerations related to fundraising activities. A high level of initiative, integrity, and entrepreneurial drive is essential, as is the ability and willingness to travel frequently to meet with investors and prospects.
