Med Tech responsibilities The Med Tech responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring residents, and providing basic care under licensed nurse supervision, focusing on accuracy, resident safety, documentation, and maintaining medication supplies, often requiring certification like CMA/CMT. Key duties include preparing and passing drugs following the "5 Rights," checking vitals, observing for side effects, recording administration, managing medication carts, and assisting with personal care like bathing, grooming, and feeding.
