EMPRIA Wellness Massage is a growing wellness and therapeutic massage practice serving individuals seeking professional, personalized massage therapy in a comfortable and respectful environment.

We are looking for a Texas-licensed Massage Therapist who is passionate about helping clients manage muscle tension, physical discomfort, stress, and mobility-related concerns through safe and effective therapeutic massage techniques.

Our practice intends to serve a diverse client population as well as members of the general public.

Position Summary

The Licensed Massage Therapist will provide professional massage therapy services based on each client’s needs, treatment plan, and applicable referral or authorization requirements.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on therapeutic skills, excellent communication abilities, professional boundaries, and a genuine interest in helping clients achieve their wellness and functional goals.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct professional client intake and health-history assessments.

Review relevant referrals, treatment instruction requirements.

Develop appropriate massage treatment approaches based on client needs and scope of practice.

Provide therapeutic, medical, deep-tissue, myofascial, and other appropriate massage techniques.

Maintain proper draping, hygiene, sanitation, and professional boundaries.

Modify treatments appropriately based on client response and documented needs.

Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation.

Communicate professionally with clients and, when applicable, other members of the healthcare team.

Recognize contraindications and situations requiring referral to an appropriate healthcare professional.

Follow all applicable Texas laws, regulations, professional standards, and company policies.

Protect client confidentiality and maintain appropriate records.

Provide a professional, respectful, and welcoming experience for every client.

Qualifications

Required:

Current and unrestricted Texas Massage Therapist License .

Completion of an approved massage therapy education program.

Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, contraindications, and therapeutic massage techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Professional appearance and conduct.

Ability to maintain accurate client documentation.

Ability to work independently while following established policies and procedures.

Preferred:

Experience providing medical or therapeutic massage.

Experience working with clients experiencing chronic pain or musculoskeletal conditions.

CPR/AED certification.

Professional liability insurance.

Experience with electronic health records or healthcare documentation.
