About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg/Tele Float Pool Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care RN experience in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting. License: Current RN license required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. NIHSS preferred and required upon hire during orientation. Must-Have: - Experience caring for diverse patient populations and adapting to multiple clinical environments is strongly preferred. - Epic experience required. Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse for a Med Surg/Tele Float Pool. The typical patient ratio is 1:4 to 1:6, based on unit acuity. The schedule includes every other weekend and rotating holidays. Nurses will call before each shift for unit assignment. They will report directly to the assigned unit and participate in unit safety huddles and standard workflows. Assignments may include any adult medical-surgical/telemetry unit, ED Holding, or IMC. Occasional mid-shift reassignments may occur based on operational needs. The patient population consists of adult patients with a broad range of diagnoses, including general medical-surgical, telemetry, neurology, stroke, orthopedics/trauma, elective joint and spine procedures, skeletal traction, and external fixation.
