Title: LPN – Medical Surgical

Location: Rochester, NY

Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts

Shift Timing: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced LPN – Medical Surgica l to provide high-quality patient care in a complex medical-surgical environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing their own patient assignments with RN support and have recent acute care experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical setting

• Manage patient assignments with RN support

• Administer medications and blood products

• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection

• Start and maintain IV lines

• Provide central line, PICC line, and peripheral line care

• Monitor and manage telemetry patients

• Assist with oxygen therapy and respiratory care

• Perform tracheostomy care and feeding tube management

• Monitor patient condition and report changes appropriately

• Participate in rapid response and emergency situations

• Follow infection control and isolation precautions

• Assist with wound care, wound vacs, and surgical drain management

• Float to other units within skill set as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Active New York State LPN License required

• BLS Certification required

• Acute Care experience within the last 2 years

• EPIC experience required

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the healthcare team
