Your Responsibilities - What You'll Accomplish

• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical laboratory analyses-chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all procedures, train new colleagues or students, and contribute to the maintenance of lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment and comply with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment.
• Continuous maintenance of current certification is required throughout employment.
