Psychiatric NP Fellow Syracuse Nurse Practitioners & Physician Assistants Full-time Opening on: Mar 30 2026 Psychiatry MedBest Nurse Practitioner Fellow, L4 89013 N/A Job Summary Recruiting for Community Psychiatry Fellowship Positions Outpatient and community work with underserved populations. Fellows will learn how to deliver high-quality outpatient care for patients with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. Candidates will learn psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, harm reduction, and buprenorphine maintenance. Close supervision and didactic material provided by SUNY Upstate Faculty. Minimum Qualifications NYS licensed/registered NP (NYS NP specialty area of certification must be consistent with practice). Must have NPI number and be Medicare Enrolled with Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN) OR be eligible for Medicare Enrollment within 6 months of hire (eligibility criteria for NP requires National Certification through AANP or ANCC, and Master's Degree). Initial certification must be present or obtained within 6 months of hire. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.
