And to make it matter.The Vice President, Account Director is the strategic lead on one of the agency's larger accounts. This role owns the account's commercial performancedriving revenue, ensuring profitability, and maintaining rigorous financial oversightwhile elevating the quality and impact of DTC engagement.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary owner of the client relationship for the assigned brand, building trust and guiding strategic decision-makingLead brand strategy and influence clients to achieve business and marketing objectivesDevelop a deep understanding of the client's business, competitive landscape, and industry trends; stay alert to marketplace shiftsApproach the brand with a holistic marketing lens, integrating emerging technologies and cross-channel insights into recommendationsLead, manage, and mentor the account team; provide guidance on agency processes, culture, and best practicesPartner with integrated agency teams to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery of high-quality, strategically aligned workEvaluate creative against strategic objectives and provide clear, constructive feedbackOwn revenue management, forecasting, and financial performance for the brand; oversee budgets, staffing, and scope negotiationsOptimize agency services and internal workflows to improve efficiency and elevate outputSpearhead major client presentations, including annual plans and key program recommendationsProactively build and strengthen client relationships across the organization; navigate complex situations with professionalism and sensitivityIdentify and drive growth opportunities within existing accounts and support new business effortsSeek opportunities to showcase agency work with current clients and prospective partnersQualifications10+ years of experience in client services, including pharmaceutical advertising (required)Prior DTC experience required3+ years of people management experience, with a proven ability to develop and mentor team membersProactive, action-oriented problem solver who drives momentum and resolves challenges efficientlyDemonstrates integrity and builds trust consistently with colleagues and clientsProven track record of growing business within existing accounts (upselling), and experience supporting new business pitchesPublicis Groupe provides robust and inclusive benefit programs and policies to support the evolving and diverse needs of our talent.
