Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support security‑related procedures for visitors, drivers, and team members. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.47 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, check in authorized personnel, and document visitor, vehicle, and/or delivery activity in accordance with post instructions. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, site contacts, and/or first responders. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including entrances, trailer yards, loading and unloading areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones, as assigned. Help to deter unauthorized access and other security‑related concerns by observing site activity, reporting unusual behavior, and following established escalation procedures. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
