Location: Des Moines, IA Pay Rate: $25/hr Employment Type: Contingent with Pathway for Hire Schedule: M, T, Th, F: 8:30am–5:00pm; W: 8:00am–4:30pm; rotating Sat Why This Role Matters As a Phlebotomist, you represent the face of the organization to patients during important moments in their healthcare journey. Your ability to provide accurate, compassionate care—especially for pediatric patients—helps ensure reliable diagnostic results and builds trust with patients and families. What You’ll Do Perform venipuncture and capillary collections, including pediatric and geriatric patients Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing following established practices and procedures Verify patient demographic information and specimen labeling, obtaining patient confirmation post‑collection Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor Maintain accurate records, documentation, and confidentiality of patient information Maintain a safe, professional, and patient‑focused environment What We’re Looking For A current, up‑to‑date resume High school diploma or equivalent 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections Pediatric phlebotomy experience required Two years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred Strong customer service, communication, and data entry skills Ability to work independently with minimal on‑site supervision in a fast‑paced setting Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record, if applicable Ability to meet compliance requirements What’s In It For You Competitive hourly pay Pathway to potential hire opportunity Consistent weekday schedule with limited weekend rotation Hands‑on role supporting patient care and diagnostic services Benefits for Manpower Associates (Upon Eligibility) Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for: Medical and Prescription Drug Plans Dental Plan Supplemental Life Insurance Short Term Disability Insurance 401(k) ManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
