Must-Have Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent CVICU experience
• Experience caring for POD 0 Open Heart patients (Required)
• Experience with IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) (Required)
• Experience with Impella devices (Required)
• Active RN License in applicable state
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS

Clinical Skills Required

• Open-heart recovery and management
• Advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Arrhythmia recognition and management
• Critical care assessment and intervention
• Mechanical circulatory support management (IABP & Impella)
• Post-operative cardiovascular patient care
• High-acuity ICU nursing
