Senior Software Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the finance industry, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Senior Software Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of the development team supporting various financial products and services. What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions tailored for the finance industry.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative payment and banking applications.
• Implement and optimize payment gateway integrations, including SEPA/SCTINST and SWIFT protocols.
• Ensure the robustness, security, and scalability of applications through rigorous testing and continuous integration.
• Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices to enhance product performance.

What's Needed?

• Extensive experience in applications development with a strong command of Java (JDK 1.8/1.7), JEE, Maven, Hibernate, EJB 3.1, MQ, SQL, REST, XML, XSD, and JSON.
• Proven expertise in developing and maintaining financial payment systems, including SEPA, SCT, and SWIFT protocols.
• Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, and testing frameworks like Selenium.
• Solid knowledge of Application Servers (WebSphere, WebLogic, or JBoss) and databases (Oracle and Postgres).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux environments, and Kafka is advantageous.
