Telecommunications Specialist Duties
As a Telecommunications Specialist you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Developing, evaluating, testing, and ensuring implementation of specialized telecommunications support to ensure the continued functioning of specific government components under all conditions.
- Supports planning and operations for an emergency preparedness mission.
- Participates in working groups and makes operational and planning decisions to resolve information technology and telecommunications conflicts.
- Leads information technology/telecommunications projects, ensuring compliance with existing policies and integration practices.
- Evaluates, analyzes, develops, manages, and improves communication systems through internal policy and procedure reviews and revisions.
