RN - PACU

Registered Nurse - Critical Care PACU

This position is based in Pennsylvania.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shifts are 3 days a week, 12 hours each from either 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM, with on-call responsibilities.

The Registered Nurse in the Critical Care PACU will provide care for patients in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a strong background in trauma care, with responsibilities including pre-operative and post-operative management of patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the PACU setting
• Monitor patients' recovery from anesthesia
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Prepare patients for discharge and provide education on post-operative care
• Respond to emergencies and provide critical interventions as needed

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• At least 2 years of critical care or PACU experience required
• Trauma Certified with TNCC, PALS, ACLS certifications
• Experience in Level I Trauma and ICU settings preferred
• Valid state nursing license required at the time of submission
• Previous charge experience preferred
