Job Description

The Commercial Operations Lead is responsible for leading the commercial execution and operational management of the Allergan Aesthetics business in the Netherlands. Acting as the local country leader and representative of the General Manager, the role is accountable for translating the France & Benelux strategy into flawless local execution across Sales, Marketing and business operations, while ensuring full compliance with AbbVie and Allergan Aesthetics policies.

The position provides day to day leadership to the Netherlands organization , driving commercial performance, customer engagement, execution excellence and cross functional collaboration. The Operational Lead serves as the primary leadership point of contact for the local affiliate, ensuring alignment between field teams, marketing, AMI, Medical, Finance, Supply Chain and Commercial Excellence.

The role plays a critical part in accelerating Allergan Aesthetics' growth ambition in the Netherlands by strengthening execution, expanding customer partnerships, driving adoption of Signature Programs, and building a high performing organization focused on sustainable growth.

Key Accountabilities

Commercial Leadership

• Lead execution of the Netherlands commercial strategy in alignment with the France & Benelux business plan.
• Deliver sales, profitability and market share objectives across the aesthetics portfolio.
• Monitor business performance and implement corrective actions to maximize growth opportunities.
• Drive forecasting accuracy and business planning in partnership with Finance and Commercial Excellence.
• Ensure disciplined execution of pricing, segmentation and commercial initiatives.

Sales and Marketing Leadership

• Provide leadership across the local Sales and Marketing organization to ensure one integrated customer strategy.
• Ensure successful execution of brand plans and local marketing initiatives.
• Drive adoption and execution of Allergan Aesthetics Signature Programs, ensuring excellent customer experience and measurable business impact.
• Coordinate execution of multiple commercial campaigns, launches and educational initiatives planned over the coming years.
• Translate global and cluster strategies into locally relevant execution.

Cross Functional Leadership

• Coordinate local execution across Commercial, AMI, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Finance, Supply Chain and Customer Service.
• Ensure effective prioritization of business initiatives and resource allocation.
• Lead local business reviews and governance forums.
• Represent the Netherlands within the France & Benelux Leadership Team and contribute to cluster decision making.

Customer Engagement

• Build strong relationships with key customers, faculty members, KOLs and strategic partners.
• Expand customer engagement through education, innovation and differentiated service.
• Support development of the Netherlands faculty ecosystem and educational strategy together with the AMI organization.
• Act as senior commercial representative for major customer negotiations and partnerships.

Leadership and People Development

• Provide coaching and leadership to the Netherlands commercial organization.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and execution excellence.
• Drive employee engagement and continuous capability development.
• Promote AbbVie Ways of Working and lead organizational change initiatives.

Operational Excellence

• Ensure effective execution of business processes, governance and compliance requirements.
• Partner closely with International AMI to ensure execution remains aligned with AMI Guidance.
• Promote operational discipline across planning, reporting, customer engagement and business reviews.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve organizational effectiveness.

Compliance

• Ensure all commercial activities are conducted in accordance with AbbVie policies, International AMI Guidance, Office of Ethics and Compliance requirements and applicable local regulations.
• Foster a strong culture of integrity, patient focus and ethical decision making.

Qualifications

Experience and Knowledge

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences or related field. MBA preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in commercial leadership within pharmaceuticals, medical devices, consumer, aesthetics or healthcare.
• Management of country operations including P&L delivery is preferred
• Demonstrated experience leading cross functional organizations in a matrix environment.
• Strong understanding of Sales, Marketing and customer engagement models.
• Proven track record of delivering commercial growth and leading organizational change.
• Experience managing complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with operational execution capability.
• Excellent communication, influencing and leadership skills.
• Fluency in English and Dutch are required.
