Scheduler/Planner

Job Details: Level: Experienced, Job Location: Hartford City Mill - Hartford City, IN 47348, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School Diploma or Equivalent, Travel Percentage: Less than 10%, Job Shift: M-F 8 hours per day, Job Category: Manufacturing Essential Functions of the Job: Requires active participation in safety, cost management, process improvement, plant scheduling and production flows. Plan and execute Paper Machine Scheduled Annual Shut Down work Plan and execute periodic (10-14 hour) scheduled Paper Machine Shut Down work- Coordinator/ Scheduler Plan the Daily, weekly and monthly Activities for the Maintenance Group Manage Paper Machine Rolls & Roll repairs- Annual Repair and Maintenance cost Works closely with Peers to ensure work is being accomplished in a quality manner Helps establish goals and objectives to align with company roadmap Effectively manage available resources (i.e. parts availability for planned work) on daily basis through efficient planning and scheduling activities Utilize maintenance metrics to achieve annual production and reliability goals as defined Participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis process. - To improve Mill overall reliability Coordinate weekly planning meetings to ensure operations personnel are knowledgeable of upcoming maintenance activities, verify schedule and priority of work Promote an integrated work environment between mechanical and electrical craftspeople Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Additional Requirements: Must have strong skills in project planning and maintenance scheduling.
