Job DescriptionDewberry is currently seeking aSenior Environmental Project Manager to join the NE environmental group in our Parsippany, NJ office for large scale transportation projects. The ideal applicant must be flexible, client focused, and proficient in the transportation project delivery process. Individuals qualified for this position should have state and federal permitting experience in New Jersey (General/Nationwide /Individual Wetland Permits, Pinelands and Highlands and Coastal Wetland Permits, including Waterfront Development and CAFRA permits) and experience in coordinating with jurisdictional agencies. Certain positions are also eligible to receive overtime pay, whereas all non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime (subject to approval).In addition, a host of discounted purchase programs are available to all employees.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate work of multiple environmental disciplines on large scale transportation projects and interact with designers and contractors involved in project development and construction.Supervise staff necessary to complete assignments in a timely mannerCoordinate project activities with client and project team and consult with regulatory agencies.Lead proposal preparation, contract review and execution, and manage project activities with a focus on quality delivery and scope/budget/schedule adherence.Perform reviews of permit documents, plans and technical studies and develop project execution strategies.Required Skills & Required ExperienceBS Environmental Science, Geology, or related field Professional licenses/certifications desired, including PG, LSRP 15-20 years of experience overseeing the execution of environmental technical studies and permitting tasks for complex transportation projects 10-15 years of project management experience on large scale transportation projects in the NE regionStrong reputation and long-term relationships with resource, regulatory, and transportation agenciesActive involvement with professional organizations at the regional and national levelDon’t meet every single requirement?
