May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial engineering role within a manufacturing environment.Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.Extensive experience in developing large layout designs for equipment and workspaces to enhance productivity and reduce waste.Proven track record in work measurement and time standards.Extensive experience in continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics and statistical analysis.Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software.Desired Skills1.
