This role involves working with cross-functional teams to ensure that data center deployments are efficient, scalable and aligned with business objectives.Responsibilities:Leading custom data center design solutions, optimizing space and ensuring efficient layoutsDeveloping structured cabling designs that support current and future business needsCreating comprehensive power and capacity planning strategies to maximize efficiency and scalabilityEnsuring designs align with Uptime Institute Tier standards and industry best practicesInfrastructure & Technology IntegrationOverseeing the design and implementation of network and IT infrastructure for high-performance environmentsProviding expertise in structured cabling, power distribution and cooling strategiesEnsuring seamless technology migration by developing plans for relocating IT workloads without disruptionConstruction & Project ManagementManaging data center build-outs from conception to completion, ensuring projects stay on time and within budgetCoordinating with vendors and contractors to procure and deploy infrastructure according to project requirementsImplementing modular construction methods for faster and more flexible deploymentsMaintaining vendor-neutrality by selecting the best solutions tailored to client needsCompliance & Risk ManagementEnsuring data center designs meet local regulations, compliance standards and industry certificationsConducting risk assessments and implementing strategies for business continuity and disaster recoveryMaintaining documentation and best practices for safety, security and operational efficiencyClient Collaboration and Stakeholder ManagementEngaging with clients to understand their unique requirements and provide customized solutionsProviding strategic consulting on technology migrations, expansions and modernization projectsOffering post-build support to optimize data center performance and ensure long-term scalabilityRequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent experienceDemonstrable experience in data center design, construction or IT infrastructure deploymentStrong understanding of power and cooling solutions for data centersExpertise in structured cabling design and network infrastructureExperience in technology migration planning and executionAbility to work with modular construction methodologiesKnowledge of data center compliance and risk management frameworksProficiency in Sunbird DCIM is a plusIt is impossible to list every requirement for, or responsibility of, any position.
