Our organization is excited to announce a full-time opportunity for an Urgent Care Provider to become part of our diverse healthcare team in Santa Barbara, California.

Our established urgent care facility is integrated within a larger multispecialty clinic, utilizing a shared electronic health record system to promote seamless collaboration and continuity of care. This role provides a unique chance to deliver same-day, walk-in services for patients with urgent or acute needs, whether they come through self-referral or are directed by our network of primary care and specialty providers. You will have immediate access to advanced imaging technologies (such as x-ray, ultrasound, and CT scans) and laboratory services, allowing you to diagnose and manage a wide array of urgent conditions in a single, convenient location. This approach aligns with the triple aim of healthcare: delivering the right care, at the right time, in the right setting.

Position Overview:

• Flexible Schedule - Typically three 12-hour shifts per week

• Patient Load - 30-35 patients daily

• Assessing and treating a diverse patient population, addressing everything from minor injuries and infections to more complex cases requiring swift diagnostics.

• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests

• Prescribing medications and administering treatments

• Providing education and counseling to patients

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals within the multispecialty group or emergency department to ensure coordinated care

• Maintaining precise and current medical records

Compensation:

• One-Year Salary Guarantee

• Annual Salary Range: $280,000.00 - $340,000.00

• This salary range represents the base compensation for full-time physicians and does not include additional incentives or benefits. The base salary may be adjusted based on experience, community needs, and other relevant factors.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with relevant experience in urgent care

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine

• Ability to perform standard urgent care procedures

• Possession of a DEA Certificate

• Eligibility to work in the United States

• California Licensure or the ability to obtain it

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
