FP&A AnalystLocation: 999 Clifton Avenue, Clifton, NJ (Hybrid)Department: FinanceReports To: Director of FinancePosition SummaryWe are seeking a FP&A Analyst with a strong foundation in healthcare finance to support a rapidly growing multi-entity healthcare platform. This role will drive FP&A, operational analytics, and strategic finance initiatives, with direct exposure to executive leadership. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, and pro forma modeling, along with an understanding of healthcare financial drivers such as payer mix, collections, and procedure-level economics.Key ResponsibilitiesFP&A & Financial ReportingBuild and maintain budgets, forecasts, and cash flow modelsSupport monthly close and multi-entity P&L reportingAnalyze budget vs. actual performance and identify key drivers and variancesAssist in developing standardized reporting cadence and outputsOperational AnalyticsBuild and maintain operational reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators across sites and service linesEnsure consistency and accuracy of operational data used in financial reporting and analysisIdentify trends and variances in operational performance and escalate insights to finance and leadershipStrategic Finance & M&ASupport financial diligence and underwriting for acquisitionsAssist leadership in evaluating new service lines and growth initiativesBuild pro forma models based on operational and revenue assumptionsAnalyze service line performance, strategic initiatives and growth opportunitiesTranslate acquisition and integration performance into inputs for ongoing forecasting and deal diligenceAd-HocSupport ad hoc financial and operational analyses as needed to inform business decisionsBuild quick-turn models and scenario analyses to support time-sensitive leadership requestsPrepare presentation-ready schedules and materials for executive, board, and lender requestsPartner with operations, accounting, and clinical leadership to source data and validate assumptionsRequired Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field• 2-4 years of experience, healthcare finance preferred• Strong understanding of payer mix, reimbursement models, and revenue cycle• Experience with procedure-level or service line financial analysis• Advanced proficiency in ExcelWhat We're Looking ForTechnical ability is important, but resourcefulness and ownership are equally important in this role. The successful candidate should be someone who:Can take an assignment from concept through completion without requiring constant directionKnows how to research and troubleshoot problems independentlyCan take an incomplete data set or loosely defined problem and determine how to move forwardCompensation$80,000-$100,000 base salary, depending on experience and qualifications.What Success Looks LikeWithin the first several months, the Analyst should own recurring budgeting and forecasting, multi-entity P&L reporting, operational dashboards, and variance analysis with limited supervision - given the objective, the data, and initial direction, then figuring out how to get to the finished product.
