Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Family Medicine A well-established and collaborative family medicine practice in Ellington, Connecticut is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its team. The provider will manage a dedicated patient panel while benefiting from protected administrative time, strong clinical support, and opportunities for professional growth through system-wide primary care resources and leadership. Opportunity Highlights Full-time outpatient Family Medicine position. Monday–Friday schedule with a 4-day workweek option. No call and protected administrative time. Strong clinical and practice support. Integrated Epic EHR and easy access to specialists. Manage a continuity panel and provide acute, chronic, and preventive care. See approximately 18+ patients per day. Order and interpret diagnostic studies and prescribe appropriate treatments. Coordinate referrals, follow-ups, and comprehensive patient care. Collaborate with physicians, APPs, support staff, patients, and families. Qualifications Nurse Practitioner or PA-C with Family Medicine–appropriate training. Minimum 1 year of traditional primary care experience. Experience independently managing a patient panel. Active Connecticut license or eligibility.
