Software Developer IILocation: Huntsville, AL Status: Full Time – On Site Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, First ShiftThe Software Developer II works as a software developer for T&W Operations producing new software programs and maintains and/or modifies existing software programs based on contract and customer requirements.Education, Experience and Qualifications:2-years' related experience and Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Mathematics related field. Experience in lieu of a degree would be considered.2-years' experience with OOP languages C# or Java 3-years' experience with relational databases MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.Scripting language experience preferred JavaScript or Python.Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.Must be capable of passing a drug screening. Communicates using clear, concise, and accurate English, both verbal and written, are required.Duties and Responsibilities:Experience working on Agile team is a plus.Ensures data integrity within various software applications Complies with internal ISO 9001 document control requirements.Works with a team of software engineers to develop and maintain web-based logistics applications as well as standalone custom software leveraging ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, C#, Java, JavaScript, HTML, jQuery, and CSS.Assists management in analyzing user needs and developing software solutions, designing software, and customizing software for client use.Confers with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design systems and to obtain information on project requirements, performance metrics and interfaces.Effectively communicates with management to relay the status of the project objectives on a regular basis.Employees may be required to travel for work related tasks: Performs other tasks as needed.
