Critical Incident Investigator I

Managing a high volume of critical incidents, the full-time Critical Incident Investigator I will work remotely to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant resolutions while collaborating with various teams to investigate and address incidents affecting Community HealthChoices participants. Key responsibilities Report and investigate critical incidents related to long-term services and supports, including allegations of abuse or neglect Monitor and screen intake queues for critical incidents, ensuring compliance with state standards and timely documentation Engage with peers and service coordinators to propose interventions and evaluate actions taken to mitigate risks Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Criminal Justice, or Social Work preferred; or Associate's degree with 2 years of relevant experience Prior experience in healthcare, quality, auditing, emergency response, or public safety strongly preferred Strong computer proficiency, particularly in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and web-based healthcare applications Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare products, and managed care principles preferred Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
