Union Mobil Certified Journeyman Engineer

ABM is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Union Mobil Certified Journeyman Engineer to operate and maintain mechanical, HVAC, electrical, piping, and plumbing systems in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of boilers, compressors, refrigeration equipment, generators, and air-conditioning facilities.

Pay: $52.55/HR The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Benefit Information: This is a union position and will include benefits as outlined in the collective bargaining agreement with the local 501.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boilers, compressors, refrigeration systems, generators, and HVAC equipment.
• Inspect and patrol mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on registers, radiators, lights, fixtures, and minor furniture and flooring issues.
• Ensure compliance with all State, County, and City Ordinances, Codes, and Laws while managing high-pressure boiler installations.
• Work to achieve the most economical and efficient results in system operations.

Qualifications

• Certification as an Engineer (for Certified Engineer roles) through a standardized examination, demonstrating superior trade knowledge.
• Experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
