Utility Worker

Basic Functions: Under the supervision of the Director of Facilities, Maintenance, Operations, and Transportation or designee, provide custodial, grounds, and general maintenance support to support facility rentals, events, and daily operations across District campuses. The Utility Worker performs a range of custodial services, routine groundskeeping, and minor maintenance and repair tasks, with a primary focus on weekend and event support. This position works a non-traditional schedule and serves as an on-duty resource to ensure facilities are clean, safe, operational, and where needed provide support to approved and scheduled activities; and to perform all related duties as assigned. Work Schedule / Assignment Structure: If employed in a full time capacity (1.0 FTE), this position is assigned the following regular 40 hr work schedule: Two (2) 8 -hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday One (1) 8 -hour shift on Friday Two (2) additional 8 -hour shifts during the workweek
