Manual MachinistWe are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist who is adept at machining parts for rotating equipment such as pumps, shafts, couplings, rings, cases, turbines, and valves. The role involves operating manual mills and lathes, primarily working with steel and stainless steel. Enjoy a supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth.Work Environment:Work in a climate-controlled indoor shop with a structured schedule from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Thursday. Fridays are scheduled at 60%, and weekend work is typically for emergencies only, with double time on Sundays and holidays. A 10% differential is applied for PM shifts. The position offers 8 holidays, 2 floating holidays, and a 4% match on the 401(k) plan.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenner, LA.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
