Finance Assistant - Part time/ Contractor

Description We are looking for a motivated and high potential financial assistant for the Boston Innovation Center (BIC) of the Simcere Group. The financial assistant’s day-to-day work will involve financial reporting, operations and analysis. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting/finance and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail. The goal is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department and help Simcere’s management team be fully aware of the financial health of the BIC, and support the management in making the right decisions and accomplish long term success. Requirements Responsibilities Support in bookkeeping to ensure all business transactions are recorded Assist in the monthly/yearly financial closings Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned Prepare expenses analysis and support in financial forecasts for management review Support in budget preparation Assist with other finance projects Requirements and skills BSc/Ba in accounting, finance or relevant field Experience in a similar role will be ideal. Graduates with strong interests and high potential in developing skills in finance are also welcome Qualifications (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is a plus but not required Excellent organizing abilities Great attention to detail and numeracy with analytical acumen Good communication and Chinese language proficiency will be ideal Comfortable working with colleagues of various levels and cross-functional collaboration Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant ERP software (e.g. SAP) is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Simcere-of-America-Inc
