GHR Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU – Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Atlanta, Georgia. Job Details Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 05/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 40 hours Shift: 8 hours per day Employment Type: Travel Location: Midtown Atlanta, GA Contract Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: 9:00am – 5:30pm, 4 days per week (32 hours per week) Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours weekly Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,690 – $1,780 Requirements Minimum 2 years of PACU or relevant specialty/perioperative nursing experience Active Registered Nurse (RN) license AHA BLS & ACLS certifications required Experience with orthopedic, plastics, general, colorectal, and GYN surgeries preferred Open to travel nurses — no local candidates within 50 miles Responsibilities Provide high‑quality post‑anesthesia care to patients recovering from general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care Monitor patient vital signs, manage airway/respiratory needs, and respond promptly to post‑operative complications Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and perioperative teams to ensure safe handoffs and patient transitions Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) Provide patient and family education on post‑operative care, pain management, and discharge instructions Benefits 401K with Matching, Healthcare, Dental and Vision.
