The Role
We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to help drive performance, strengthen culture, and ensure compliance across a multi-state environment.
What You’ll Do
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Lead employee relations matters with sound judgment and consistency
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple states
- Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate actions
Talent & Performance
- Support recruiting efforts in partnership with Talent Acquisition
- Drive performance management processes and accountability
- Identify and develop high-potential talent
Culture & Engagement
- Champion Mesa’s Pride, Respect, Trust (PRT) culture across all sites
- Support engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and leadership development
- Act as a visible, trusted HR presence in the business
HR Operations & Projects
- Partner with HR Shared Services and Centers of Excellence (Benefits, TA, HRIS)
- Support HR systems, process improvements, and ongoing HR transformation initiatives
- Assist with M&A integration efforts, including onboarding and cultural alignment

What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of progressive HR experience
- Strong experience in employee relations, compliance, and multi-state operations
- Experience administering employee benefits and HR leave programs
- Proven ability to influence and coach leaders at all levels
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving, multi-site environment
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience supporting operations, logistics, or service-based industries preferred
Certifications (preferred):
- SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, or similar
