OBJECTIVEDay Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety in client facilities throughout the day, ensuring scheduled tasks are completed efficiently and client expectations are met.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSProperly mix disinfectant solutions according to guidelines.Operate and maintain electrostatic sprayer equipment correctly.Follow daily route sheets to complete scheduled services.Communicate with clients as needed to ensure satisfaction.Send daily service recaps to the supervisor.Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized, and safe condition.Keep janitorial equipment clean, safe, and operable.Ensure proper labeling, dilution, and use of all chemicals.Always wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Perform other routine janitorial duties as assigned.Use the timekeeping system to verify all hours worked.Communicate any daily priorities or schedule changes with immediate supervisor.Address and resolve client complaints or requests per City Wide policy.Maintain communication with clients through supervisors or logbooks.Travel to assigned locations as required.POSITION REQUIREMENTSAbility to perform routine walking, standing, and bending for extended periods.Ability to carry items weighing less than 50 lbs. independently; items over 50 lbs require team lifting.Reliable transportation or plan to relocate to St. Augustine, FL, Or Jacksonville, FL prior to starting.Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.Physical DemandsThis role requires physical stamina for extended periods of walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
