Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
The Rapid Response RN will provide critical nursing care in the Emergency Department, ensuring timely interventions for acute patient needs. This role requires fast adaptability and a strong focus on patient safety during high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize incoming emergency cases rapidly and accurately.
• Administer advanced emergency interventions, including IV starts, blood draws, resuscitations, and EKGs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Meditech EMR.
• Follow departmental policies and adhere to safety protocols, including dress code and floating guidelines.
• Support patient and family education to ensure understanding of treatment processes and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN licensure with current certifications in TNCC, PALS, ACLS, and BLS.
• Proven acute care experience, preferably in emergency or trauma settings.
• Demonstrated ability to perform advanced emergency procedures efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, active and personable personality preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure with a strong sense of teamwork and professionalism.
