Description Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. This position is Full Time and will work -hour, Variable shifts. Responsible for performing patient scans under the supervision of a nuclear medicine physician. Duties include calculating radioisotope dosages for administration to patients, operating radioscopic equipment, and practicing strict radiation safety. Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Completion of an accredited nuclear medicine training program. Upon hire: California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification. Upon hire: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. 6 months experience during the last year, or a minimum of 2 years full-time experience with an absence from nuclear medicine of no more than 1 year. Preferred Qualifications: 1 year experience in nuclear medicine (not required if recent graduate from an approved technologist training program). Why Join Providence?
