Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Developer with strong handson experience in: X++ development Extensions & integrations Deployments & production support The ideal candidate will also have Microsoft Power Platform expertise (Copilot, AI Builder, Copilot Studio) to deliver AI-driven automation and modern agent solutions integrated with D365 data. Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of Finance and Supply Chain processes , particularly Inventory and Warehouse Management , and be able to work independently in fast-paced enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities Lead development of technical specifications for ERP implementation. Provide D365 programming solutions for IPT projects and BAU. Configure and support D365 environments. Develop and maintain build/release automation systems (PowerShell scripting). Provide technical/functional design advice for D365 solutions. Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery. Mentor team members and provide enduser training/documentation. Participate in Agile ceremonies (user stories, backlog grooming, standups, retrospectives, UAT). Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and risk management practices. Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and assess their integration into existing IT landscapes. Required Experience & Skills 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 / D365. Proven track record in large ERP projects and implementations. Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills. Handson expertise in: Dynamics 365 F&O development (X++) Installation & configuration Integration endpoints SQL Server (basic development/maintenance) SSRS & Power BI reporting Code & data upgrades Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of Information Security Management Systems. Excellent communication skills (oral & written). Ability to troubleshoot effectively and adapt quickly. Qualifications & Certifications Tertiary education in IT (preferred but not mandatory). Mandatory Certifications: Microsoft Certified Dynamics Specialist – AX2012 Development Introduction Microsoft Certified Dynamics Professional – Development for AX Microsoft Certified Dynamics Professional – Applications for AX Desirable Certifications: MCSA: Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations Microsoft Certified Dynamics Specialist – AX Trade & Logistics, AX Financials, AX Production AX 2012 R3 CU8 Installation & Configuration Training Annual Security Compliance training completion required.
