Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a licensed and certified healthcare professional responsible for providing advanced clinical care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and health education. In a chiropractic or integrative medical setting, the NP collaborates with chiropractors and other providers to deliver holistic, patient-centered care. This position requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient wellness.Key Responsibilities:Patient Care:Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physicalexaminations.Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions within the NP’s scope of practice.Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work, X-rays, or other imaging.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medicationsand therapies as appropriate.Provide patient education on diagnoses, medications, wellness strategies, and lifestylemodifications.Collaboration & Coordination:Collaborate with chiropractors, therapists, and other healthcare providers to coordinatecare plans.Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare professionals when needed.Participate in team meetings and case reviews to enhance patient outcomes.Ensure continuity of care through accurate documentation and communication.Compliance & Documentation:Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential patient records in the electronic healthrecord (EHR) system.Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA andscope-of-practice guidelines.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and chart audits as required.Clinical Oversight & Support:May assist with in-office procedures, injections, or regenerative medicine treatments ifapplicable to clinic services.Monitor and manage follow-up care, lab results, and patient progress.Provide support for preventive care and wellness programs offered by the clinic.Qualifications:Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP).Current Nurse Practitioner license in the practicing state.Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) or other relevantspecialty.Minimum 1–3 years of clinical experience (experience in integrative, chiropractic, ormusculoskeletal care a plus).DEA registration for prescribing, if applicable.Strong communication, diagnostic, and organizational skills.Work Environment:This role takes place in a collaborative healthcare environment that may blend conventional and alternative approaches to care.
