Pharmacy Technician

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician II
Location: Onsite - 5215 Torrance Blvd, Torrance, CA 90503
Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential for Extension)
Schedule: Morning Shift – PST
Pay Range: $22 to $26 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- The technician will be responsible for the packaging, preparation, and sterile compounding of intravenous medications as well as injectable medications, including chemotherapy and other biohazardous drugs.
- All duties must be performed in accordance with USP and standards, institutional protocols, and safety guidelines.
- Fills prescriptions under the supervision of Pharmacist in hospital pharmacy or retail establishment and performs a variety of other duties.
- Mixes pharmaceutical preparations, fills bottles with prescribed tablets and capsules, and types of labels for bottles.
- Receives and stores incoming supplies
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Must have Active Pharmacy Technician license
- 3-5 years of related experience
