Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while working in Arlington, TX at a hospital setting. The role involves evaluating and treating neuro and orthopedic in‑patient rehab patients as well as performing acute evaluations and treatments for orthopedic, telemetry, and ICU patients. Candidates must follow the facility dress and appearance guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Texas OT license required to start the assignment. No temporary licenses allowed.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience. Must have in‑patient rehab and/or acute hospital experience.
• Experience with inpatient rehab occupational therapy including neuro and ortho patient evaluations and treatments.
• Experience with acute care evaluations and treatments (ortho, telemetry, ICU).
• Documentation experience with Meditech preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2–3 years of combined experience in rehab and/or acute hospital settings preferred.
• Prior experience floating to other units as needed preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0800–1630.
• Weekend schedule: rotating weekends.
• Guaranteed hours: 36.
• Floating: may be required to float to other units as needed.
• Documentation system: Meditech.
