This role Product Safety & Compliance Engineer Co-Op will interact with team members globally. They will have the opportunity to be involved with our certification partners for electrical safety, restricted materials, sanitization, and chemical substances. The candidate will be responsible for compliance activities for low and medium complexity projects for the product category assigned covering all regions where the product is marketed. Here are some of the exciting things you’ll get to do: Collaborate cross functionally to ensure compliance with safety requirements Lead low complexity product certification projects Present the status of your projects and associated project risks Support preparation of executive review updates on all team activities Multi-task, maintaining a continuous comprehensive understanding of project status Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining continuous track of key details Key Attributes & Skills Education: Current student in their third year or beyond of a bachelor's program, currently enrolled in a master’s program, or have graduated within the past year Must be able to come into the office 4 days per week Must have an academic background in electrical, mechanical, or similar field of study Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities Able to work independently with moderate supervision and generate ideas within their area of expertise Strong attention to detail and accuracy and ability to meet deadlines Adaptable and flexible with change Experience presenting in front of small groups Embodies SharkNinja's success drivers: Rarely Satisfied – Adopt a “no delays” mentality in delivering against market needs/timing Progress over Perfection - Make quick, daily progress and continuously adapts to achieve results rather than requiring perfect planning Details Make the Difference - Can coordinate timelines & deliverables to ensure accuracy and consistency across all consumer-facing materials Winning is a Team Sport - Ability to develop strong cross-functional relationships Communicate for Impact - Strong communication skills - ability to deliver effective presentations to all levels of management Due to the high volume of applications for early talent roles, response times may vary depending on the specific role and timeline. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
