Carilion Clinic is seeking a full-time Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to join its well-established community-based practice in Christiansburg, Virginia. The incoming provider will enjoy a full spectrum general obstetric and gynecologic practice at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center alongside a supportive team of board-certified OB/GYNs, advanced clinical practitioners, and a certified nurse midwife. Practice Info Carilion New River Valley Medical Center is a 146-bed acute-care medical center with excellent support staff and a medical staff of 280 physicians representing a broad range of specialists. Features a Level II Nursery and a practice averaging 70-75 deliveries and 20-25 non-obstetrical surgeries per month. Ground and air transportation is available to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital with Level III Nursery and 60-bed NICU located in Roanoke, VA. Practice has a strong partnership with the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine where all of the physicians are adjunct faculty. Opportunities are available for physicians interested in research and partnership with the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.
