WEL Companies is looking for professional CDL-A Independent Contractors who want the freedom of business ownership while partnering with a carrier that provides consistent refrigerated freight, competitive revenue sharing, and the support needed to maximize profitability.
Our Independent Contractor program is designed for owner-operators who value independence and want access to dependable freight, strong customer relationships, and one of the industry's most respected refrigerated transportation networks.
Revenue & Compensation
As a WEL Independent Contractor, you'll earn:
- 70% of linehaul revenue
- 86% of the fuel surcharge (FSC)
- 70% of detention pay
- Consistent refrigerated freight
- Weekly settlements

- Valid Class A CDL
- Owner-operator or qualified Independent Contractor
- Ability to operate under WEL's Independent Contractor agreement

- Willingness to accept agreed-upon dispatch and freight commitments
