Requirements Associate degree, vocational training, technical certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 4 years of manufacturing, production, or related industry experience. Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, production processes, and quality systems. Ability to lead, coach, and support production personnel in a fast‑paced environment. Experience coordinating personnel, resources, and production schedules. Ability to present information effectively to employees, supervisors, and small groups. Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a manufacturing environment. Job Duties Lead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives. Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback through formal and informal evaluations. Coordinate staffing and labor resources to support production schedules and operational needs. Monitor production flow, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maintain efficiency. Escalate equipment downtime and coordinate with Maintenance and Test Support teams to resolve issues. Track and report time associated with NPI (New Product Introduction), pre‑production activities, and rework. Ensure effective shift‑to‑shift communication and transfer of operational information. Maintain and update department communication boards and production metrics. Serve as the primary contact for scrap reduction and quality‑related investigations. Identify material shortages and coordinate with Purchasing and Expediting teams to ensure uninterrupted production. Participate in and lead process improvement and cost reduction initiatives. Provide technical expertise and guidance on manufacturing processes, equipment, and production methods. Support the implementation of new technologies, manufacturing techniques, and process improvements.
